In the case of outbound proposals, reimbursement can also be requested under certain circumstances.
- If the candidate never responds to the proposal, your agency is not charged any credits. No action needs to be taken.
- If the candidate responds with the Stop or Leave option, the conversation is immediately ended and your agency will be reimbursed. No action needs to be taken.
- If the candidate sends a negative initial response (not interested in the job, pay too low, not looking to travel, etc.), you may request reimbursement.
To proceed with a reimbursement request, the following steps must be taken:
- Go to the Quick actions dropdown menu at the top of a conversation and click on End conversation.
- Select Candidate sent negative initial response > Next.
- Explain how the candidate responded negatively in the space provided, tick the box Request reimbursement consideration and block candidate, then click on End conversation.
Pro tip: Ending a conversation blocks you from that candidate for 30 days. Before doing so, always try to steer a candidate to another role or save them for later—when the right role comes along. Candidates frequently get placed in jobs to which they didn’t originally apply.
