Summary
Recruiters have the ability to "re-propose" jobs with the same candidate within seven days of the first proposal and recruiters can send up to three re-proposals that do not count towards their proposal limit. This feature allows recruiters to send a new job proposal that may be a better fit for the candidate or in case the first job has since been closed before the candidate had the opportunity to show interest in the position.
During the seven-day period, recruiters will see the option to propose a new job with their candidate. It's recommended you suggest one role at a time and allow the candidate an opportunity to respond before suggesting another position.
FAQ
How many re-proposals do I get?
You are allowed three re-proposals during the seven days following a candidate application. After three proposal, or after the seven-day time limit, you can still propose, but it will count as a normal proposal, impacting your proposal cap, if it exists.
What if a candidate applies to another job in that previous 7-day window?
The re-proposal window resets for another seven days and you get three more re-proposals.
What happens if I send more than three re-proposals?
Vivian will allow you to send proposals after your 3rd re-proposal, but it will count towards your monthly proposal limit. If you’ve already reached your weekly proposal limit then Vivian will not allow you to send a proposal.
What happens if the candidate I’m speaking to can no longer receive proposals - they’ve hit their max proposals for a given period?
The re-proposal feature allows you to send a proposal to a candidate even if they received their maximum proposals. We want you to continue the conversation and find them a role that’s timely and a good fit
Can I lose access to the re-proposal feature?
Yes. Vivian reserves the right to disable the feature if we find agencies or recruiters are abusing it, which leads to a poor candidate experience.
