Reusable Reference Checks Product Update: All Customers

Save time with reusable reference checks

Vivian has partnered with Checkmate to simplify reference checks—and take the task of chasing down former employers off your plate.

Candidates will begin seeing the option to have Vivian perform their reference checks when applying to certain jobs. Once verified, these reference checks will be valid for one year and reusable for any job the candidate applies to. Here's what to look for:

• Go to the References section under the profile tab. If the candidate has opted into reusable reference checks, you'll see the badges below. 
• A “Verification active” badge means Vivian has carried out the reference check successfully, and you can download the attached PDF.
• A “Verification in progress” badge means we’re in the process of carrying out the reference check for you. This typically takes about 24 hours. You’ll be notified via an automated in-chat message once complete, and the PDF will be attached.

Keep your eye out for reusable reference checks, which will roll out in a phased release during Summer 2024.
