Vivian recently improved our mobile app experience for recruiters. We made it easier for you to do your job on the go and reply to candidates when you’re not near your computer. Using the Vivian app ensures you can continue providing timely responses to candidates you’re actively working with. Our data shows that 50% of applications happen outside of 'normal' working hours.
Your experience on the app should closely match what you see on the web today. However, if you notice something doesn’t look right or want an additional feature added, please feel free to contact support or use our feature request form!
Check out the videos below to see how to download the app, enable notifications and view a walkthrough of each page within the Vivian mobile app.
-
Download the app: You can find the Vivian app in the Play Store (Android) or the App Store (iPhone <iOS>).
-
Log in and enable notifications: Once you download the app, you must log in, just like you do on the web. You must enter your email address and receive a secure code to log in. Once you log in, you'll see the screenshot below with the option to enable notifications. Enabling notifications from the app ensures you don’t miss any new messages from candidates in your inbox.
If you opted not to turn your notifications on when logging in or accidentally hit “Skip,” you still have the option to enable your notifications on the “Conversations” screen. You can also go into the settings on your phone to enable app notifications.
-
My Dashboard/Home Screen: This screen is where you’ll find your Vivian performance metrics like submissions, response rate and response time. You can also click into other pages of the app via this screen.
-
Conversations: This screen is where you’ll find your inbox and all your chats. It’s the most useful place for staying in touch with your active candidates. You can filter chats, tag conversations, move candidates through stages, request documents and transfer candidates just as you would on the web when you’re at your computer.
-
Jobs: You can view any active jobs your agency has posted and any manual jobs you’ve posted here. You can also filter for public versus private jobs on this screen. Although there’s an option to view candidates who match jobs, we recommend using the Talent Pool page for better matching.
- Talent Pool: The experience you see here should match the experience you have using the web version of Talent Pool. You can view tracked searches, filter for specific criteria, find candidates who match a specific job, view candidate card information and ultimately propose a job. You can also add a personalized message to send with your proposal. We recommend introducing yourself,, offer more details on the job or redirection. For example:
“Hey there! I work with <agency name> and noticed your experience is a great fit for this role! Let me know if you need any more details about this job or if you’re looking for other locations!”
-
Profile and Help Center: If you’re looking for additional resources, the gray “Help” button is at the bottom of the menu (accessed by clicking the 3 bars in the upper right-hand corner of your screen). You can also access your profile through the menu to change any of your personal information, set up an out of office message, view and edit your templates, and integrate your calendar to schedule candidate phone calls.
Thanks for taking the time to review the new Vivian Mobile App features and thank you for your continued partnership!
