Priority Submit candidates and 100% Profiles are now the same
To make it easier to prioritize your most submission-ready candidates, we’re upgrading the definition of 100% completed profiles to the same high standard as Priority Submit—and retiring the “Priority Submit” terminology.
To become a 100% Profile, candidates will go through the more rigorous profile completion flow that, until now, has only been available for a subset of jobs. Thanks to your feedback, we’re attaching this flow to the end of every travel job application to encourage all candidates to complete it. That means more and more profiles will be 100% complete!
FAQs
Q: What will happen to my lead volume?
- Your lead volume should not be impacted by this change.
Q: Will profiles update retroactively with this new definition?
- Yes. Any profile that previously appeared as “Priority Submit” will now appear as a “100% Profile”. Likewise, all other profiles will now appear according to their level of completion.
Q: Why am I still giving you VMS access?
- Access to the VMS is still necessary in order to verify jobs for candidates. This access helps prevent candidates from applying to jobs that have already closed.
Q: Why is the skills checklist not part of the 100% definition?
-
We decided not to include it in our application flow in order to connect the recruiter and candidate ASAP and avoid any candidate ghosting- sort of a 'strike while the iron is hot' philosophy. The team wanted to ensure the recruiter has the opportunity to make a connection while the candidate has high intent and avoid any friction that may result in a lost opportunity.
The other rarer but still important reason is that sometimes we notice the candidate ends up filling out the wrong skills checklist, or the job changes if the initial job is closed and a different skills checklist is needed. For example a step down nurse fills out a step down checklist but then that job is closed and they are redirected to a med surg/tele job that they are interested in-- if we asked them to fill out the step down checklist with the initial application that could end up being waste of their time. We realize this isn't very common, but it does happen.
We are looking at ways to ask the candidate to complete the check lists ASAP after application but also encourage recruiters to ask the candidate to complete that early on in your conversations with them.
