For those with the Fast Track feature set, we’ve added new functionality to further enhance our submission packet customization tool, addressing all your customization needs.
1. Ability to duplicate and customize the candidate's auto-generated resume
You can now duplicate the candidate's auto-generated resume and make a version available only to your agency. This function allows you to make adjustments to improve the resume’s accuracy and relevance.
2. Re-order packet documents
After you’ve selected the documents for your packet, you can adjust their order to best align with the submission requirements.
3. Final refinement editing functionality
Now, in the step where you preview your packet, you can also make final adjustments, including deleting pages, adjusting document order, re-orienting documents and any final touches needed to perfect your packet.
FAQs:
Editing the candidate's resume
- Q - Can other agencies or candidates see or use a resume I’ve duplicated and edited?
- A - No, only you and your agency can see and use a candidate’s resume that you duplicate and edit. It won’t impact a candidate's documents in any way. See the example below of how the resume will appear in the recruiter-only documents section when saved.
- Q - Can I add new work history sections if they’re missing in the candidate's resume?
- A - Yes, you can fully edit, add sections, remove sections or do anything else typically needed to refine the candidate's resume.
- Q - Why does the resume I edited on Vivian not have the color-blocked formatting like it did before?
- A - For the version of the auto-generated resume version you can fully edit, we’ have removed the more complex formatting with the color blocks. This change is to ensure you can fully add or remove entire sections of the resume, without having to navigate the more complex formatting that utilizes the color blocks and variety of alignments. You can still use the color block formatted design by selecting the “Vivian Formatted" resume, but you just won’t be able to edit it.
- Q - Can I change the file name?
- A - As of now, the only way to change a file name is to download it either through the customize packet flow or in the candidate or recruiter documents section and rename it after it’s been downloaded.
- Q - Can I make multiple edited resumes?
- A - Yes, you can make as many edited resumes as you want. Each resume saved includes the date you made it in the file name. If you make multiple versions in one day, the file name also includes a version number.
